Yoga is both a health practice and a philosophy where we observe certain rules of life called Yamas and Ni Yamas. The Yamas are the moral rules in society which allow the Yogi to be in harmony with his fellows. The Ni Yamas are personal disciplines, to progress on the path of yoga: such as purity, contentment, ardor or
the study.

“Simply sit” is a famous phrase from the Zen tradition to describe meditation. Its clarity, however, speaks of the need for self-transformation. In fact, in meditative sitting, the practitioner is invited not only to declutter, but to unconditionally get rid of the fears and judgments that color reality, to live an experience of unity and simplicity.
